The Universidad de la República represented by its Vice-chancellor, Engineer Rafael Guarga and AMRU, represented by its President Mrs. Alicia Reinaldo, celebrated an agreement last 27 th May 2003 in AMRU's head office in Montevideo .

In order to coordinate the different activities that will take place in the framework of this agreement, the Agronomist Fernando de Torres was named as coordinator.

 

 The objectives of this agreement are to promote the development and diffusion of culture, and in particular the development of university extension programs that promote education, research and assistance activities in the environment.
